Hello Babes! I’m the one who usually does the styling for others, however this time around I chose to work with a personal style service Style Doctors to pick out some cute vibrant new looks for Spring. I used the Personal Style service Style Doctors. Style Doctors is a team of Style Consultants that are based around the world and offer personal shopping and personal styling services to their clients.

Whether you’re pressed for time and have just an hour or need one of their stylists to come and put outfits together using the clothes you already have in your closet – they will help you look and feel your best.

I expressed I was looking for a few pieces to add more color and versatile pieces to my Spring wardrobe. I was interested in a comfortable dress, colorful blouse and finding a cute denim skirt. I usually wear a lot of black, especially after a long winter in NYC!  I emphasized I’m searching for a look with more color in preparation for the Spring Season. Style Doctors sent me a questionnaire prior to the Style Session in regards to my lifestyle and style preferences to help them get a sense of my style preferences.

I have to say it was nice to be on the other side of things for once! Having someone else pick out personalized looks for me, and prep my fitting room ahead of time made me feel like I had VIP treatment. My Stylist were Sherly and Brittney, and the entire session was scheduled for one hour. At first I was nervous about where we would meet, and if one hour would be enough time to complete this process. I’m extremely picky and at times indecisive at the same time. They each picked out about seven outfits that included dresses, skirts, blouse and pants all laid out and ready for me to try on in the fitting room of the store & Other Stories upon arrival. I never shopped in & Other Stories prior to this visit. I really enjoyed the stores atmosphere and the store associates were really friendly. Sherly and Brittney from Style Doctors did a great job pulling pieces that were based on my responses to the questions they sent. They both were very friendly and attentive throughout the entire session and did not rush me at all. The team gave honest feedback and I felt they really wanted me to leave happy with my choice.

This was also my first time in the Westfield World Trade Center which is hard to believe since I’m always in NYC! I even used to work downtown nearby at a magazine across the street from where this is located. Westfield World Trade Center is a shopping center at the World Trade Center complex in Manhattan, New York. The mall opened on August 16, 2016 as the largest shopping complex in Manhattan. I’ve always heard it was a great shopping complex and wanted to visit, so this was actually the perfect setting for this session. This is always a sad location for me and many others who lost family and friends in 9-11, however this new building is beautiful and creates a positive and inviting space. I plan to go back soon and saw a ton of other stores inside the mall I want to visit. I didn’t have time to walk around on the day of the session, however I’ll do another post soon to show pictures and a hauls from a few of the stores inside Westfield World Trade.

This dress is the final look I chose. It was the very first piece I put on in the fitting room! It was my favorite from the beginning and I felt it was meant to be. I tend to receive a lot of compliment whenever I wear red, and I love a great maxi dress with a slit. I travel almost every week, so I think this will be a great pack up and go dress to take on trips with me. Another AMAZING find from & other stories were these strap up shoes. THESE ARE LIFE! One item on my list of Top 20 Closet Essentials is a pair of great strappy sandals. These Black Suede Strappy Sandals are perfect to wear with so many looks.  I wear them every week with leggings, jeans, cropped pants, skirts, and dresses. I always keep a pair of black strap heels on hand from other brands that usually have a higher heel than this.  These are the perfect height, and with a thicker heel it makes them more comfortable to wear all day. Although I wanted to focus on finding looks with bright colors, Sheryl and Brittney found a great black high-waisted denim skirt and palazzo pants that I did end up leaving with as well. I mix and match them with other colorful blouses and crop tops throughout the month.
