Harley Quinn Halloween Costume 2019

This year I chose to be Harley Quinn for Halloween. My Harley Quinn Halloween Costume in NYC was so fun to wear to celebrate with family and friends. I love to dress up as super heroes for Halloween, but this year chose to be one of the Villains from DC comics. Comics, marvel characters, and any movies with super heroes and action have always been my favorite. I also saw the Joker Movie a few weeks ago which also inspired my Harley Quinn costume.

About Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn was the jokers psychotic girlfriend in the DC comics. Originally, Harley Quinn name was Harleen Frances Quinzel , and she was the doctor in the psychiatric home the Joker was locked in after committing crimes. Harley Quinn started to fall in love with the Joker whom was clearly manipulating her to escape. She helped him to escape to prove her love for him, and he continuously dismissed her. The Joker hurt, tortured, and completed a procedure on her once he escaped ultimately turning her into Harley Quinn. The joker finally decided to become her abusive on and off again boyfriend whom he committed crimes with. She refers to the joker as Mr. J and Puddin since they used to eat pudding in the asylum together! She thinks all the crime and killing is fun and is sometimes known to be even more reckless than the Joker.

Harley Quinn Costumes

Harley Quinn is resilient, and never gives up on the joker even when she should. She also transitions from the original Harley Quinn to the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn. I had to choose which Harley Quinn to become as she has two separate costumes. I created a mix of the original Harley Quinn with the Suicide Harley Quinn. It’s the emancipation of Harley Quinn.

The original Harley Quinn runs around with a black and white Mallet and black gun, and the Suicide bomb Harley Quinn has a bat that read goodnight and clown mallet. Original Harley Quinn outfit looks more like a clown suit and is all black and white with a black and white head piece with balls dangling on each end. Suicide Squad Harley Quinn has Blue and red sequin shorts, a tee shirt that says “Daddy’s Little Monster”, a choker that reads “Puddin”, red and blue hair and makeup, boots, and bracelets with thorns.

I chose to wear a mix of the two Harley Quinn Halloween Costumes this year. I wore the black and white zip up front body suit with boots, the bat from the new Haley Quinn Suicide movie, blue and red makeup on my eyes and the heart under my eye. This costume included black and red gloves, a fake knife for your waist, a chain, and a black choker. I purchase the bat separately and black and red scrunchies for my hair.

I’m so excited for the new Harley Quinn Birds Of Prey movie coming out in 2020! Are you? She broke up with the Joker and will be running things on he own terms.
