If you know me then you know I’m OBSESSED with Mesh tops. I also discuss this in my other post, what to wear to a festival. I found this sexy mesh top with cute sleeves. I paired it with this bra that is really comfortable to wear under multiple tops I have. These shoes are super bright so I added them for a pop of color with this all black outfit. Blazers are my go to sometimes when I’m not in the mood to wear a jacket but just need something. These high waist joggers are my favorite to throw on with cute tops. They’re comfortable, can be dressed up or down, and I love the bow in the front. I added my black chain bag to this look. This is a good outfit for a lunch date or date night.
Apple Picking Tradition: October 2017
Oh for the love of apples! Every year in October I go apple picking with the family ever since I was a little girl. I love picking fresh fruits and pumpkins in the fall. I found this great orchard upstate last year that has delicious apples and the BEST donuts, wine tasting, fruits, corn maze, food, games and fun. This year I picked the best apples and grapes! I would literally drive back every weekend two hours for the donut alone. In the past I’ve gone apple picking in Long Island to different orchards. Here is a link to a list of a few on orchards on Long Island if you’re interested. I decided to wear a red top to match the apples that day lol. I paired it with some high waist denim and a light jacket in case of rain, some clear shades and light brown boots. It turned out to be super-hot that day and I didn’t even need my jacket and took it off. What do you think of this look? Have you ever gone apple picking? Leave a message in the comments below of your favorite orchards or if you have any questions on where to go.
Black Pleated Leather Skirt With Boots
I love leather skirts! I’ve owned this leather skirt for some
time and decided to pair it with my leather lace up boots. I think
leather pleated skirts are so cute to pair with bodysuits, crop tops,
blouse, or even sweaters for the fall. It’s so feminine and you can
dress it up or down for a more formal or causal look. I added a crop top
with this look since it was so sunny out. I found this cute crop top
with my zip code on it so I had to get it. I added a little backpack
with this look to travel light. I think this is a good look to wear for
back to school or running errands on days that you want to be
comfortable but a little extra girly and cute.
What to Wear: Special Occasion Dress
I like to keep a stash of what I call weekend dresses in my closet to
wear to different events that should present themselves. I thought this
was a great fitted dress to wear to a bachelorette party, a girl’s night
out, or even on a date night. I usually like fitted dresses with
different designs and this one is not too tight and super comfortable. I
like to have something with sleeves for the fall in case I’m not in the
mood to wear a jacket or cover the look of my dress. I like the detail
of this dress with the mesh sleeves and v-neck. I paired it with my
studded light pink Imagine Vince Camuto Ossie Studded D’orsay Pumps
and a rose gold matching clutch.
Cozy Sweaters
I’m obsessed with cozy sweaters during the fall and winter seasons.
Check out my BestKeptStyle Pinterest Cozy board to see more looks. I
found this Free People Sweater on sale and had to store it for the
winter. I decided to wear it off the shoulder to give it more of a
causal look. I added my ripped black denim jeans. I felt this was a good
pair that I can dress up or down when running around town. As for the
accessories I added heels and a clutch to dress this look up a bit. You
can also wear this with flats and a tote or satchel bag to keep this
look more causal. Let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions
about this look in the comments below.
Casual Fall Navy Outfit
Fall is here! I’ve decided to try to add some new color to my wardrobe
for this fall beginning with this navy-blue look. I found these cute
navy-blue Kenneth Cole slip on shoes that are super comfortable and easy
to grab and go. I’m excited to pair them with different looks this
season. For this look I paired it with a matching navy-blue tank top and
jacket with ripped jeans. I felt this was a good casual look for running
around city with friends. As for the accessories, I decided to add my
navy-blue Gucci bag and my go to black sunnies to complete this look.
What do you think of this color and look for fall? Let me know in the
comments below. xoxo
What To Wear To A Festival!
Festival season is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s always fun to have a day to completely let loose, release my inner child, and enjoy good vibes making connections with new people.
BeautyCon Festival New York 2017
On May 20th, 2017, I attended Beautycon NYC at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. This was my second time I’ve attended this event. I attended Beautycon in NYC for the first time back in October 2016, and it was a lot of fun and great way to learn about new products and meet with other beauty lovers and bloggers. One of the biggest decisions on attending Beautycon is deciding which ticket you want to purchase based on the experience you prefer. There are four different tickets to choose from.
Create and Cultivate NYC 2017
The Create and Cultivate Conference is back in Seattle on September 9th! This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with different brands and bloggers to collaborate and grow. I had the opportunity to attend Create and Cultivate earlier this year and wanted to share my experience with you.
Miami Weekend
Last week my friend and I decided to have a quick girls trip weekend in Miami! It just happened to be the week after the girl’s trip movie released, maybe subliminal messages are strong because I still haven’t even seen the movie. Anyway, I love the beach, needed a quick break from New York and hadn’t visited Miami in two years. I figured this would be the perfect time to go back. The flight from New York is short and since I was already in Atlanta earlier that week, the flight was even shorter.
