One of my favorite things to wear are Dusters, especially in New York
where you cannot predict the weather like EVER! I think they add a layer
of chic to any outfit and go well over my shorter dresses and skirts. I
can take it off if it’s too hot outside, or put on in case I’m in air
conditioning at a restaurant, while shopping, or at the movies during the
summer since I get cold easily. I love this new camouflage bag I found at
a cute little vintage boutique. It allows me space to place my phone on
the outside, and enough space inside to still pile as much as I can into
it per usual. I don’t normally blend black and green, but here I thought
it worked. I paired it with my basic black Saks Fifth Ave strap heels and
Quay Sunnies to complete the look.
Joggers & Crop Tops
Soooo I have a confession. My sister calls me CropTopJenny because I
literally own way too many crop tops, but that still doesn’t stop me from
continuing to purchase them. One of my hashtags on Instagram is
#croptopjenny. I have expensive crop tops, bargain crop tops,
high-quality & low-quality crop tops, floral or black crops tops, I don’t
discriminate, I just have to have my crop tops. Anyway, I love wearing
them with high waist bottoms and joggers as well. This white crop top from
is Mystique Boutique, one of my go to places to feed my crop top
addiction. I found this cute black bag from Aimee Kestenberg at
Bloomingdales whom I’ve recently become a fan of and love the details and
size. I paired it with my Nastygal Hat for a day in BK.
Pretty In Pink
I absolutely love the summertime and was really excited to wear my light
pink outfit. I found the perfect heels to pair with a few light pink
dresses I purchased for summer parties. These Vince Camuto heels have been
my go to with multiple light-colored dresses and really comfy. Check out
VinceCamuto.com as they also come in multiple color,s or search for
Imagine Vince Camuto heels for similar styles. Since it can get a bit
cooler at night, I decided to pair it with this light pink jacket I found
in my closet. I added my Classic NeverFull Louis Vuitton Bag to keep the
look bright and of course my purple tinted Quay Sunnies for some contrast.
Denim Days!
I love pairing denim with denim yet still creating a clean look. I’m very
picky with denim and I like to choose the most comfortable material when
wearing all denim. This is one of my favorite tops from Velvet Heart
Clothing and my favorite pair of ripped JustBlackDenim Jeans. They have
really cute tops and this one in particular is super soft. I wanted to
keep this look fresh, so I added a tight white tee underneath and white
heels. Anytime I wear almost all one color, I usually like to wear
accessories to give it a pop of color to complete the look. This is one of
my favorite style bags from Milly bag collections. I have multiple colors
which are good to mix and match when running around NYC. Quay Australia
glasses this summer were always nice add to any look, and this particular
pair matched my hat with a hint of red and gold.
Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic
The Annual Polo Classic returned to NYC in Liberty State Park. This year on June 3rd 2017 I attended the 10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event for the first time. I’ve always viewed pretty pictures from the event online and it seemed like a such a fun day. I love to picnic and horses so I decided this year I wouldn’t miss it. Luckily the weather was a beautiful 75 degrees and it was so much fun.
Governors Ball Music Festival
Governors Ball is a three-day multi stage music festival for all ages in New York. I think this was the 6th or 7th of the music festival. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good festival. I don’t know, I’m a free spirit and just like to have fun. I decided to go to Governors Ball Music Festival for the first time this year on June 2nd In NYC on Randall’s Island. I have attended other music festivals like EDC, and I always heard good things about the Governors Ball festival, so I decided to see for myself. Also living on the Upper East Side, I figured if I didn’t go I would just hear the festival across the river and wish I went anyway like years prior. The entire time after purchasing the ticket I was praying to the weather gods it would be a sunny day since the year before it was rained out, and luckily for me the weather was perfect!
